I'm financially illiterate and a newfag here so please dont be hostile.

I bought a laptop from Ohio and it came yesterday (I live in Europe). Thing is my fucking post office has a 1000€ parcel value limit so I must go through some fucking third party customs bullshit. These guys want me to pay VAT. Doesn't this shit only apply to products bought from companies? I bought this used from a guy
