Is there a minimum amount of service where you wouldn't tip (waitress, haircut, cleaner), or do you believe it is a requirement no matter the circumstances?

Ordering one beer and untwisting it for me does not constitute a tip but bartenders are such fucking divas you have to throw them some change to validate their profession as a bottle slinging beggar.

Just give them a dollar and don't worry about it too much or drink at home.

A dollar tip for opening a beer? This is why everyone hates america.
>>1796586
Yep. And of course those divas don't report all those cash tips.

People I tip:
>waiter
>uber/cab driver
>delivery guy
>barber
>mechanic
I do it because it's the right thing to do, and because usually when you do it, people in these positions will favor you and treat you like a boss.
My mechanic for example, he will work on my car as soon as I drop it off, is more honest and cordial with me. All for a few bucks.

Pro-tip: You're not paying for the beer, you're not paying for the service. you're paying for the environment in which you are drinking the alcohol.
Otherwise you could just drink at home for 10% of the cost.

The fuck did u just say to me?
if they cant smile while bringing my stuff, I dont tip. And if they do I round to the next 50 cent. Feels good to not live in murica where tips arent expected
Would never tip a waitor outside of a high end restaurant.
You job is to write down what i say, pass it to the chef that does the work, then bring the food. Nah that doesn't deserve shit
Seriously, fuck most waiters. They are just above camwhores and pornstars in how pathetic they are.
They are usually stuck up bitches who are too lazy to go to college and try to guilt trip you into thinking, moving food in and out the kitchen warrants money. I cant wait for the day automation puts these assholes out of work. Id rather get up and walk to the kitchen myself or tup of the chef; the person with an actual craft.

How much do people normally tip the dry cleaner? Always get confused here. Normally I do a dollar an item. Is that too low?
>>1796487
i only tip at places where i think or know i'll be a repeat customer. the more personal the service (ex. hairdresser) the higher the tip. i also don't tip people who are obviously in high school.

Pro-tip: prices for beers bought in bars/restaurants are more expensive than in supermarkets because they're already including the cost of the environment they offer.

Why do they mark shit up 500% then, retard?
I only tip for shit I can't do.
> Haircut
> Car Repair
> Massage (but not the happy ending, I can do that on my own)
