I was out of my element. I went into tech and I have 0 clue how it works. They paid me a decent buck to improve their business but I had 0 results.

I was fully aware that my position will be max for 6m to a 2 years but I still kinda sucks.

Well its kinda true but I have a non compete. I can't work for another tech company in next 12m (I can work for other companies + I get 50% of my paycheck for next 12m)

Look up whether non competes are typically enforced in your state. A lot of times non competes are not fully enforceable because the courts believe you have the right to make a living.

As I said I get 50% of my paycheck for a year but I can't do anything I might compete with my ex company.
I talked to my lawyer friend and it turns out I can get into consoulting startups.

Maybe I can do ama if you guys are interested. My "field of expertise" were 90% startups with less then 50k euros of revenue per month.
