is anyone on /biz/ a biomedical tech or work in a clinical engineering department?
doing a 2 year degree n thinking about applying to a hospital, but not sure if its for me
currently have 4 years manufacturing experience was going to be an industrial maintenance person or engineer but I'm not sure
seems like the growth for manufacturing caps out at 30/hr. plus if I work in a hospital I can work anywhere in the country, but I don't know about the upward potential
or should I just learn how to program and be a tech memer

Look into fixing mining equipment. You'll be flown all over the world making bank.

Awesome idea actually, but what are we talking about here? Conveyors and the like? I can do shit involving motors/control logic and PLC's, machining, maybe some basic welding, and electronics.
I don't know about diesel equipment though.
You could always do a bachelor's then shoot for the MD-PhD program for gene therapist.
Don't google that salary, most sites couple Genetic Counselor (Masters Degree only) and Gene Therapist, skewing salaries downward. In the medical field they make about what internal medicine makes but with much higher growth potential and specializations not fleshed out yet, and in the PhD end of things they still pull six figures.

wewio m8 you're shooting way too far i'm not out to do more than a bachelors and if I do a bachelors it'll be a while from after I finish my associates.
I don't even know what you're talking about m8

that's not even related to what I'm studying.

Do an MD-PhD? Lol, you need 95% on the MCAT and research experience for that... What the hell kind of advice is that some kid who's getting an associates degree. MD-PhD in gene therapy? Explain to me what that is please...
you can make bank with biomed tech
You just need to get into neuroscience
