What do I do with this? I have access through work to a Fidelity brokerage account. Should I stick some money in there and allocate it to something? To what?

Depends on your goals.
Always have 6 months worth of expenses saved, after that you can save to buy a car/house or invest that money in stocks/mutual funds and let it grow.
