My younger brother wants to start working at a job on Fridays and weekends. He's 15 and lives in NJ.
The problem is, we live in a place where blue laws in in effect because of the (((politicians)))
In case you don't know what a blue law is: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blue_law
So basically, how and where can he find work? Is he legally allowed to? Where can he find all this information?
Please, serious answers

You can find it on your state employment website. He should look into mowing laws or working as bus boy or dishwasher at a restaurant.

tfw mexs in this country stole his job
On a more serious note, can he actually be a bus boy or dishwasher? I know he can mow lawns, but everyone here does it themselves or hire landscaping companies.

unless he's in wheelchair or missing his hands, then yes he should be able to. apply to local restaurants.
>but everyone here does it themselves or hire landscaping companies.
talk to neighbors and see if they are interested. especially the elderly.

The law says that basically he can work most of what he wants, he just can't work past 9:30 until he's 16.
Tbh, he wants to work at some computer or tech related stuff because he's into technology and all that, so he's been trying to apply to retail stores selling electronic related equipment.
I'll tell him that he can also apply to restaurants, thanks mang

it's a roughly 3 hour drive from where we're at so that's not possible.
He is currently volunteering at a chinese school and helps teach python and basic computer science to kids slightly younger than him.
Is it possible to put that as his current employment?
