> When is it coming to my country?
The only "plans" are on an Australian and Chinese beta. Neither of which has gained much traction.
> I hit sell when the stock was X.XX, but it actually sold at a lower price, am I being jewed?
Jewish tricks? No, and please refrain from the antisemitism! Robinhood graphs are just shit and only show you an average, not-really-realtime price. To get Bid/Ask prices and important things like candlestick graphs, you should use a more robust platform.
> How is it free?
"People" invest your settled funds when you're not using them, just like banks.
> Is this the place to pump and dump and/or shill a worthless stock?
Are you aware how small this community is? Better to try stocktwits or r/wallstreetbets
> It's been X days, why isn't my account verified yet?
Not being approved in 3 days seems to be the new norm. Nevertheless, call/email their support if you've been waiting more than that.
> Where can I get better charting or bid/ask?
Real brokers, like TDAmeritrade's thinkorswim. Otherwise you should be using stockcharts.com, finviz, or a non-pile-of-shit for your graphing in addition to Robinhood.
>How do I git gud?
People here are gambling, don't listen to any advice in this thread. Do, follow news, earnings reports, and stay away from leveraged etfs, also learn difference between LIMIT and MARKET orders!!!
Anyone thinking of jumping in on PETX?
Rode it from $5 to a little over $8 some time back. It dipped hard today (17% down) on news of a delay for the rollout of a drug it already has an approval for. I can see it gapping back up once the panic wears out since it's a company with several actual products.
kinda in the same boat.
except i want to sell amd to buy more amd.
Overwatch is consistently in the top 10 games streamed on Twitch... It's a genuinely good game and the past seasonal events have big revenue potential with the loot crates. Plus with the pro scene growing bigger and bigger (view count for tournaments are increasing, more teams are being sponsored, etc...), the player base just keeps growing.
I expect 44.00 for a moderate PT
The only issue is infinite warfare tanked. I see a lot of analysist factoring this in on the PR but none of them seem to be aware of Overwatches micro transaction sales being big.
Even if IW tanked, they sold shit tons of copies because you had to buy IW to get COD4 RM. If they sold the 2 separately I wouldn't be as confident but they were smart and forced you to shell out 90 for both.
And yeah, loot boxes in OW are almost as popular as CSGO cases as far as people buying large amounts of them to either A) open on stream or B) get that cool new skin so they can look like a good player
ATVI does look good Im just worried about Call of Duty. I'm also looking to see if NAKD wants to move again, if it doesn't today it's probably over. Planning to sell AMD sometime mid day today. I think 14 might be the peak before retracement. Holding PIP overnight looking for more movement into the 1.50s
I don't have my eye on much else yet but I'm still doing my DD right now so I will post some finds later.
Really clean chart, been moving for 3 days though so I'd be careful. Still looks pretty good.
When did you buy?
I took profits at close.
Can always play it again if it runs tomorrow.
If the market closed at 22.00
Then I held it from 18.00, sold 1 hour before close.
It was going from 0.89 to 0.91 several times so i thought it would tank im so stupid but atleast its consolation that there will always be new moon missions.
They have to have a shareholders vote first before anything.
Look for resistance around 1.50 this morning. If it breaks that and volume is still high then who knows. Otherwise I think we'll see a dip back down to 1.02 ish
Still holding NAK long and DRYS into earnings for a roll of the dice(Small position)
PIP is doing it. The absolute madman. Don't die today little buddy
How fucked am i for being flagged?
So I bought GPRO around 11 last week before their earnings and they tanked to 9.50. Should I hold on to it or just sell
Also what do you guys think of FIT? I went in at 6.00 hoping that it had reached rock bottom. Think it will go up?
Is this a good time to short the S & P and/or overall market??
Whats the best way to do this? I was thinking of getting into an "inverse ETF" a la SQQQ or PSQ
TODAY'S A NEW DAY /BOYZ/
Pour your coffees and crack your WSJ's, today we gonna watch PIP POP once again!
If you exited stakes yesterday, it's time to reload!
Or you just have pre-market access and not be retarded?
$RGSE Coming off 52 week lows, good volume in the pre market and was up 38%!
Wait for the morning dip and Chaaaaaaarge!
Can i have some recs for my watchlist? I have PULM.
wouldn't touch JDST either today, the $1250 gold range is a bit ticky

dont meme me anon
I was expecting NAKD to run yesterday and it slapped me in the face. I think I was just a day early. I dont want to call it yet but I think NAKD is the day runner to 4.
When it looks like I won't make money on it.
You get a feel for this over time. There's really no substitute for experience and no shortcut to getting it. I suggest you start with less than $500, or less than $100 if you're poor.
As long as you want to.
My best bet is 2.00 but that's optimistic and only would happen if everyone jumps into the stock.
Conservative PT is 1.50 but personally I'm trying to get out around within 1.2-1.4 range I've just been watching to see how it goes and think it's a more realistic range.
But if you wanna gamble hold longer.
how much was yesterday's special dividend per share? $2.91 right? Before that, the stock was trading at $3.26. Subtract the special dividend and you get the actual share price, no?
Why do the 1M 3M and 1Y graphs look fucked up?
Reminder that $PIP is merging with Altimmune under the new ticker $ALT, has already been approved by board directors and are waiting on shareholders to cast in votes which may happen anytime.
Reminder that your broker may not be able to trade the new ticker as soon as it is released
You could expect a sell off as soon as they announce a voting date
>Vancouver-based Haywood attributes the decline to "a dearth of non-discretionary buying from utilities combined with an over-supplied market which continues to inflate global inventories, partially attributable to the continued shutdown of Japanese reactors and the ramp-up of production at selected uranium mines including Cigar Lake."
No dates yet, but they said they expect to close the deal that's providing all the cash by end of Q1. I'd watch and wait for that news- just make sure you understand the difference between record date and ex-dividend date.
As a bonus, market will undervalue MACK because they're dealing away their primary moneymaking drugs from years past for a neat $1bil under a new CEO. Market doesn't understand pharma.
You're an idiot.
>you'll make at least 20-30 % safely
yeah right lying piece of shit
A lying piece of shit, saying whatever only to get a fix, right?
LOL sour grapes nigger? Literally the entire thread in onboard the Space Shuttle PIP™
I wish I could see your tears from the outer rings but I have a vivid imagination, so that'll have to do ;)
Two in phase 2, one expected to begin phase 1 this quarter. They took a big hit right before Christmas after a drug failed phase 2.
Deal will clear most of their long-term debt, and they also dropped 80% of their workforce last month.
>Golds back up again
>I can return to /biz/ after months in hiding
>tfw all I had to do was wait
portfolio is green, not because of hard training and hard research. Not because of great stock picking skills. Not because of the early mornings reading the news.. No. My stock portfolio is up because some guy on 4chan said a stock, said to the moon, i bought, and its green.
me too. couple hundred bucks in profit but /biz/ a great way to understand how the market works, not because everyone here is knowledgeable (I'm sure there's plenty of good traders here who do this 24/7) but because the stock market is, in part, mass psychology.
You know why PIP will keep rising?
Because everybody can see that the pricetarget is around $3.
This dip is a chance you get every once in a while.
$1+ territory will feel safe keeping that in mind.
That is why the price keeps going up and volume keeps increasing.
Now dont expect not to see a few bumps on the road, but overall PIP will hold steady and close with huge gains.
There will be no major dips because there will be plenty of people to pick up those shares.
>mfw I cucked myself trying to buy $RGSE, broker never went through and missed the PIP dip and moon mission in the morning.
I would say so simply because they have several approved drugs and the panic is due to a delay in rolling out one of the drugs they have an approval for.
The question is when will the sell off stop?
You'll miss moon missions anon, the most important thing is not to get antsy and blindly hop on what could be the next one. If you don't buy, you can't lose, so just keep your emotions in check and go about it logically.
>If you don't buy, you can't lose
You can't win either
>Already made 15k.
I would average down on xgti anon, I lost quite a bit on them by chasing the gains but straight up cut my losses. I'm holding 3000 URRE at 1.98 but I plan on holding for at least a few weeks.
>buy PIP at 1.27
>it starts dipping down to 1.24 area
>sell PIP at 1.25 cuz scary visions of eternal darkness
It was 1.35 just recently
>Summer 2016 Robinhood General: Trolls and sabotage and a brief glimmer of hope in a Battletoad
>Winter 2017 Robinhood General: Actual sober minded advice
I'm so proud of you guys
PIP's struggle represent the struggle of Jesus of Nazareth. The hardships, climbing up mount olympus. Those who have faith in PIP gets rewarded.
Bless our Savior
Managed to make some change from $PIP if I was going to get cucked form a moon mission might as well make some lunch money.
>stock at 0.99
>hmm i dont know, too scared to enter
>stock climbs to 1.14
>hmm i dont know, maybe this is it, too scared to enter
>stock goes to 1,25
>hmmm i dont know maybe this is it
I bet if i jump into a stock it will plummet
>I bet if i jump into a stock it will plummet
and it sure fucking will too that's why I only bought 100 shares; if it dips catch it but play it very very modestly we missed the train.
>Bought 4000 shares at the dip.
>Up $520 already.
enjoy your baby gains, bitchboy
That's not mathematically possible unless you bought the dip right after open or yesterday.
Bitchboy back there was trying to get me to buy high earlier, and instead I waited for it to dip back down into the mid 1.20's
bought feb 17 $14 AMD calls at 13.80 for 500 dollars
fuck my life
also bought in at AMD 12.21 for 2000 dollars so all gains gone and in a minus now, should I close pos and get out with a -100$?
You're an enormous faggot who can't read.
I didn't say anything about your decision. You were suggesting I get in when it was $1.37.
Instead I waited for it to drop since buying high is a bad idea. I made more money by not listening to you.
I'm giving the middle finger to the Federal trade commission and pattern trading $pip even though I don't have 25k fuck you and your trade limits.
Its now lunchtime.
Shorters and market makers are going to keep the price lower so that they can profit. A small dip is natural.
After the lunch and especially in powerhour PIP will see huge gains again.
We will touch $1,50, $1,70 and from there it might run to $2.
This run isnt over until we hit at least $2.
Sick beats mah negro.
I hopped on OESX yesterday. Up 2% today. Earnings tommorrow likely to continue their turnaround.
Direction pending I could see myself going long on it. Facility efficiency is still a sizable market both for new construction and retrofit. And management is open to moving in to other systems as well beyond lighting.
>there are people on this board that actually buy after a pump
So I frequent /sci/ a lot, and I've just found this thread general on /biz/. I am new to Robinhood, but I have $1000 to utilizel.
Any tips on what looks good? Ryzen is coming out soon, and I was looking into buying a chip due to everyone in the PC gaming community stating that they'll probably beat Intel KabyLake out on price per performance.
I know Warren Buffett states to only invest in what you know and to look into buying stock of companies which create things you see people buying or will be buying.
Does /biz/ think it's too late to invest some coinage into AMD? I know someone is going to tell me that "RYZEN HYPE HAS ALREADY BEEN VALUED INTO THE STOCK'S PRICE!!"
I wish I was here for the DRYS run to 100. I arrived a month or so in the aftermath. I've seen screen shots but just to be apart of those threads would have been awesome.
