I probably wouldn't get one, honestly.

I already have one and my feeling is that the payoff is really low and the years spent on it would be better spent on making a business.

Also, I challenge calling business as a pseduo-science. Marketing, Management, sure. But Econ and Finance is like psychics applied to money.

I'm doing a masters in information systems at a pretty good school. I basically applied because I can do it full-time while still working in a related field. Where I work you also need a masters (any masters) to move up so the main thing I lose is time, which you should be willing to give up.

Maths, honestly. I'm on a STEM jobs mailing list and loads of hedgefunds keep emailing me about jobs "Ph.D. in Maths/ highly mathematical science required"
