Go. Slow. Don't Buy the memes. ever. And DON'T sell when you're stock dips into the red. The biggest thing with trading is patience. As long as you don't fall for the memes you're money is relatively safe, and will fluctuate.
Decide how much you want to make on a stock, and set a Limit Sell at that amount, walk away, and get a notification when it sells. Pic Related is my personal trading account on Robinhood (I would highly recommend). As far as specific stocks go, I've made most of my money on NUGT, DUST, JNUG, and JDST. Those are Gold and Reverse Gold Leveraged ETFs, do some research on ETFs, and only plan on holding them for under a month. I typically only hold for a week or so. These stocks tend to move with what the US and UK economies are doing, and Gold goes up anytime Trump says something drastic.
The biggest thing, is realizing it's a slow race. Yes people make money on the memes, but just as many lose it, if you're just starting trading, you'll lose it....
