Hello everyone. Argie here.
I've just started reading books about saving and investment, as well as actually saving money every month.
My question is: is there a way for people outside the US to invest in the american stock exchange?

This is not a 'no' but, why can't you use your home country's exchange?
>>1757215
Have you tried opening and account with a US broker?
>>1757226
Yes, I know. I intend to do it, but I would like to have the ability to invest in bigger, multinational companies too.
>>1757232
Please, excuse my ignorance.
Can I do that over the internet?
>>1757244
It doesn't hurt to try.
>>1757244
That depends how much money we're talking. How much capital are you currently planning to put to work in the market?

Why would you wanna do that? The U.S stock market is very overvalued. There are better value stocks with better dividend ratios on international stocks.
Tell me, what country are you in?
Some US or international companies should be listed at your local stock exchange. I would steer clear of US large cap stocks until after the next major correction though.

Thank you for the advice.

You need to get an online broker that offers US access. Don't know whether there exists some service like that in your shitwhole country.
I am in Europe and there are a whole bunch of brokers that offer this service here. Hell I could buy stock in USA, Tokyo, Singapore or even Australia. Obviously fees are higher as on domestic trades.
