His name is the brand. People on kindle recognize him and buy his novels. Plus reviews cut down on this type of theft.

But, if you're looking to make serious money, ebooks aren't the thing anymore, imo

If you self publish a book your book will NEVER be in book stores. It will be on a website filled with millions of other self published books and no one will ever know it exists.
