Experienced game developer here.
I'm running into a bit of a slump in my freelance work and I ran into this post on UpWork that looked promising.
The problem is I live in Bangladesh which the client described as a 'fuccboi country' and I'm concerned that this will cause him to not want to hire me. I'm not a Bangladeshi I'm just a digital nomad doing geo-arbitrage in poor countries. I'm also concerned that he will try to take a hit out on me but I'm not sure how serious he is about that.

As for you, use a Proxy and charge with a Bank Account of a regular country.
