I'm considering purchasing an internet forum. It has around 198 current active users, which can be increased by advertising/shilling(it's 4chan mentality related)

It's up for sale for the price of 4,5k USD in BTC

Anyone has any previous experience in this field? Can this be monetized, made better and sold for more after.

only spend that money if you know what you are doing.
make sure stats are legit, ask to see stats via remote, the going price is 8-12months revenue for established websites
