So /biz/ I just turned 18 today, I have a job at the local Kroger store and I'm about to graduate and make my way into college, but I don't want to be stuck as a wagecuck. I have absolutely no knowledge of stocks or of the market, but I want to make money and I figured this was the best place to start. Now, where do I begin?
You can work for shit money to raise your initial capital - it's either temporarily being a wagecuck for your long term gain, or doing literally nothing and gaining nothing.
Honestly if you can make a few grand now, put it towards retirement, you're already way way ahead of the curve. (interested in trading- checkout babypips.com -- Investing (generally) - Check out investopedia - reading a couple autobiographies and a few mindset books I.E Rich Dad Poor Dad, Intellegent Investor etc. Keep up education - seek experience (email local companies for work experience etc), become a rounded person. If you can do all the above, you'll make it (atleast make it well above average.)

You think there's some simple way to do it?
And that the people on this board know what it is?
You're approaching this wrong. Any "simple" way to become rich entails as much, if not a lot more, risk of losing everything you put in it.
Are there people who've won the lottery?
Yes.
Does this mean playing the lottery is a sound investment strategy?
God no.
