This summer i'll be getting a contract job making 2k/month working two hours per day, everyday. This means I can go get a second or third job to boost my income even more, since right now i'm making a mere $750/month. Now my question is: What should I do with my excess income? Yes, not spending it and just keeping it in a savings account or something is the best start, but I want to get my money working for me so that I have something of a college fund for my child(ren), whenever it is me and my wife decide to have kids.
This job will be the first time in my life that i'll be making way more than I need, and if I cant find some way to put my money to use, i'm going to end up blowing it all on stupid shit. So I'm looking for ideas and suggestions on what to do with my disposable income once I start getting it.
Picture unrelated, I won it in a raffle.

Get an additional job ~20 hours a week. Groceries are probably looking for people. Call center work is harder to get into but they pay more.
As for investments. Best advice is after you have your 6month-1 year emergency fund with all debts paid...start investing in shit.
Safest bet is divident paying stocks or some index fund.
I'm trying to think of a non temp job where you only go into work for 2 hours a day and I'm at a loss...
Mind if I ask what kind of job you'll be getting?

It's a contract job cleaning a restaurant. The catch is i'm working every single day of the week alone, so I really can't take a day off since I would have no coworkers to have cover for me if im sick. I have the option to make more if I take on more responsibilities, but the effort to value ratio evens out around the 1.8k mark, so i'll be doing the minimum necessary to earn that much.

It's fairly large, but each time they have me come in to cover for the current person they have it never takes more than 2 hours. The extent of my responsibilities is making sure the floors are nice and clean, the bathrooms are nice and clean, and that once a month I wax the floors and do a deep clean. I just lucked out in finding the job, once the guy I work with goes and moves like hes been planning, I I step right in to fill his shoes and the same pay rate as him.

Now realize that people make $2k/month working 8hr/day for 5days/week. Hire someone to do the job while your job is to get more contracts.

maybe ill do that in the future, but I want to get a stable income going first.

There is a difference between being rich and being wealthy. You are currently making 37.71/hr. Unless you can find a job with this wage somewhere else, work on getting more contracts. Spend 6hrs a day doing so. Until you are working 8hr a day then hire and spend your 8 hours finding more contracts.

I dont want to be rich, I just want to have enough money to were I can live comfortably without worrying about wether or not im going to have money to pay my bills next month.
