Even $7.50/hour fast food Managers sound disappointed when you say you don't have 10 years experience in customer service or cooking.
But that doesn't mean they require experience. I've applied to job posting that "required" 5 years experience and I got the job while having none or only education/training. I believe it's mostly just to rat out the I don't care enough about finding a job type of people that would rather go on Reddit and complain about their lives instead of just applying to it anyways.
