And let me say it like this.

Pakistan is a developing country with mineral wealth, an educated population and relative stability. Plus, Pakistan got a $55 billion investment from China in the energy sector and building a transport route from China=>Pakistan=>Indian Ocean, it also gets a lot of aid from the US because the US has a vested interest in keeping Pakistan stabilized. And so does China now.
