Hi biz, I'm a little stuck
I need to write a strategic management analysis for a company but I'm struggling to think of a simple company with readily available data.
Does anyone have any suggestions for a non-conglomerate company with preferably the majority of operations being within a single country.
Bump because I'd like to learn about this
chic fil a
dollar general/family dollar

Every publicly traded company files all their financial data with the SEC 4 times a year. Its called a 10k or 10q.

That's actually a really good suggestion, I'm from the UK and I have never heard of this company. I'll look into it, thanks anon.

Indeed, I am aware. My main issue is finding one of these companies which has a clear business plan and that doesn't have too many fingers in different pies or so to speak. For this reason my original plan was to focus entirely on McDonalds UK. However, the data available tends to be quite mixed in with that of the EU.

which company chic fil a or dollar general/dollar tree (dollar stores?)

I'm considering using chic fil a, I'll have to take a look at their annual report and make sure enough financial data is available first though. Being publicly listed that shouldn't be an issue.

Are you doing a bullshit assignment for some management college class?

Pretty much this exactly. I'm supposed to use a basic guide and an expensive textbook I can't afford to produce a strategic management analysis. It's worth 40% of my module so I need to do it right.

My final year of undergraduate. Can't wait until I can leave this behind me.
Cintas. It's an industrial laundry roll up story. Not much to it.

Thanks for the suggestion, I'll look into it
