I had a part-time job with extremely flexible hours that I got through nepotism and I was told that if I left for an internship I might not get it back afterwards.
How could I even get an internship? I am financially stable and could even do an unpaid one if I had to but every internship I've ever seen has "working towards a degree" as a requirement.
