The proletariat would be slaughtered by the capitalist controlled army.

You don't the ruling party will. Then you will give up everything just to work and not go to jail for being a lazy fuck
>>1634357
First you need to define who the proletariat IS.
It's not early 1900's Russia. The proletariat isn't really something that exists anymore.

>scale doesn't start at 100%

Basically modern day wagecucks

which implies that the "revolution" or whatever in veenezuela happened in 2014/between '14 and '15, and if that is indeed the case, it makes a lot of sense to choose the 2014 value as the 100% one. not sure what your problem is

Just be good friends with leaders and you will live life better than ever. Capitalism is not even close

>Basically modern day wagecucks
What does that even mean
Quantify it. Is the Investment banker making $300k/yr the same proletariat as the mcdonalds employee?

It's kind of like how 1984 put it: Winston thought the key to overthrowing the party was with the proles starting a revolution. But the likelihood of that happening was close to 0. I think the system we have in place now is too entrenched to ever being truly abolished completely. We might see adaptations of it evolving over the years, but it will always be there, forever rooted in our lives.

As long as we get rid of the far-right populism personally the system isn't that bad. Variations of the centre-left idea with strong market with strong safety net like norway seem to do pretty well. And norway isn't that homogeneous either, it's only 80% norwegian now.

Norway is 94.4% Norwegian and 3.6% other European.
When a country is 98% white or asian hard working people with similar cultures then yes, it works. Otherwise it does not.

Welfare capitalism isn't socialism though.

Car imports to the US are a modest 2.5% tariff. Car imports to China are a whopping 25%. I think we need to find a way to even the playing field.

Whatever word you use for it, safety nets do not work outside of homogenous societies. Especially if the ethnicities in the country have different work ethics like the USA.
Just look at the Florida old-world Cubans vs the California modern Mexicans. Hardest workers in the world versus 60% welfare rate. It does not work.

Its annual change, not an absolute scale. So between 2014 and 2015, food prices rose more than 300%
