Personally for these purposes I'm for foreign bank deposits. I don't know where you're from, but in most jurisdictions
deposits money (foreign as well) is taxed at about 10% lower than the regular capital gains.

How about getting 10% annually from a foreign bank?
You need to do your homework though. The main risk is currency fluctuations but sometimes inflation kicks in as well.
