I want more money. I am from a southern state and I'm not sure on where to go right now in life. I am settled at my parent's house and have $5k in my savings. Planning on investing in a car sometime next year or moving out. Neither of those are realistic right now. I'm 22 and have two jobs. Here's some info:
>downtown hardware store
>$8/hr, 2 years working
>full time
>experience with welding, plumbing, and electrical in that order
>buffalo wild wings
>$9.50/hr, 2 months
>part time
>only working here for money; plenty of cooking experience at home but would rather not cook for a living
>misc. jobs, none last over a year
>$7.25 to $8/hr
>part time
>experience is cashier, cooking or unloading trucks (lol)
What do I do? I can't find any job that pays higher than $9.50. Assembly line jobs are going out of business around here.
Bump before I sleep.
It's called get an entry-level education at your community college in something you may see yourself getting into (like computers). Start there and see if you can get yourself an entry level helpdesk job or something of the like and see where you can go from there. If it doens't turn out to be your thing well its just community college and you didn't lose much money.

wait tables. working nights $100/shift should be easy, plus a small paycheck. pick a busy chain place on the rich side of town.

Georgiafag here.
Leave both jobs and go do blue collar work (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, etc...)
You should start at $12/hr and go up every few months.
Just look up businesses that are blue collar, call them one by one (or stop by their office is even better) and just tell them you are a prompt hard worker who is looking for work.
Anything under $10/hr is a fucking joke in 2016. Especially for a 22yr old. You need to be making much more money anon.

What if I have a back problem? That holds me from doing any type of hard labor.
