How would markets react to a 3D hologram invention that can be mass produced?
don't know how markets would react but investors would give that company ~$1.5bn before they even had a product on market.

What the fuck is a 3D hologram?
It that just a hologram printed around a cylinder or a sphere?
That sounds dumb.
Do you mean a "video hologram". I don't think markets would get too excited, firstly you'd need to look at the processing demands to store that kind of information since traditional raster based video encoding like MPEG4, DCT etc. are just not suitable.
But like, FLy-Eye lenses already have a foothold in that sector, so you'd need to have a proof of concept which is drastically better and implementable with current processing power.
Maybe, maybe if what you actually mean is a Volumetric Display that creates a projection in 3D space - like as if in air, like a SciFi? I could see it creating a lot of hype if properly marketed

i meant volumetric display
it would only be cool if you can create miniature 3d video games worlds that you can explore. like Mario 64 but instead of it being on the tv its floating on your coffee table.

Need more details.
Does it project into? a surface is it a cube? Does it use, say, water vapor to give it a medium it can create imagery in
Can you walk around it? Like look at it from 360 angles?
Is it portable? Like can I hold it in my hand and move it about?
What's the resolution? Is it visible in natural light?
Like I said, I can see it creating a lot of hype, but then again it's taken VR headsets like 30 years to get to the point they are at now in terms of consumer demand.
I think a Tesla business model: slamming in massive investment and hoping for the primacy effect to make you the industry incumbent may be a good paradigm, but we still don't know if that's gonna work for Tesla.
Maybe market to the porn industry? Traditionally with video technology they're at the vanguard.

just the sci fi version
stop sperging out

Oh so you're just roleplaying? No interest from markets then.
Buy kneepads.

It would cause a revolution in video chatting faggot
