> Dropped out of 2 community colleges, mostly because ended up needing more money and had a hard time juggling work and school (also, got lazy/ lack of discipline)
> Had multiple jobs but never held any position longer than a year. Mostly shit in order from most recent (1 year cashier, 8 months server, 10 months as an admin, 8 months as radioshack employee, 6 months as hotel front desk)
> currently working at safeway as a starbucks barista for 5 months
> grew up relatively poor, mom is disabled now and all siblings have left the house so im taking care of her, but living in the bay area is getting quite expensive
i understand now that allot of my finance problems stems from my lack of discipline and effort but ive grown now and know that no matter what im going to have to work hard. I just want a faster way out. Is school the best options. What kind of careers should i aim for if im running out of time. Is it too late for me to break into the middle class? Tech is big around here and im willing to learn computer skills, but i have no guidance. How do i find a path? I figure on a 60k a year salary ill be pretty content. What can i pursue thatll get me there in around 2 years or less? Specific careers and some ways to start getting into them would really help. Plz /biz/. You guys seem to really understand finance
