I had the same problem. I was really fucking bad with Subway because it was literally 2 doors down from the office. I bought all the shit for a sub myself and made it at home morning of. Cut cost of my daily meal just by making it myself.

I do it too. I've gotten better about it. I now only go out to eat maybe 1-2 times a week as opposed to every day. I also quit going to get coffee and brought my own coffee to brew at work since the coffee they give us is shit.

What will really get me is when everyone wants to go out as a group. I really like the social part of it. It's hard not to go get coffee with the qt a couple of cubes down when she invites you.

Eat a salad for lunch Monday-Thursday that will cost you $2.50 a meal if bought in bulk. Then go out on Friday and treat yourself.

Same goes for buying a fresh lunch each day. Little pleasures make life tolerable. Without them you might save a few bucks in the short term before the darkness consumes you.
