Don't rush into trading and business with only $6k. Use your free time to study business and learn other skills you (and potential employers) would be interested in. You can find anything you need for free on the internet.

If you need experience and don't have any, do some volunteer work and include that in your resume.

Most importantly WATCH YOUR EXPENSES. It's way too easy to waste your money on things you don't really need. The more money you save now, the more you can spend on investments later.

After you got a job and steady income with a good amount of savings tucked away, take that 6k and invest it.

There are a lot of different investing strategies. Do some research and do whichever one works for you.
