>Zcash peaked at $3,600 USD today
>over $5 million was traded at these prices
>Zcash is now worth $17 USD
W T F did I just witness
>>1591763
Just people manipulating the price to trick people into buying in higher than it's worth.
>>1591763
You want to really get your mind blown? It didn't trade at 3600 usd... it traded at 3600 BITCOINS.
2.2 MILLION FUCKING DOLLARS PER COIN
WHAT
THE
ACTUAL
FUCK
>he didn't buy the future at 1.6 and sell at 8
>>1591881
It's not really mind blowing when we're talking such low volume, a small fraction of an arbitrary value.
I could call 3600 BTC a 'peacock' and say holy shit, ONE peacock is currently going for 2.5 million! MY MIND IS BLOWN
Where can you find the current worth of zcash?
>>1591763
1 zec = 17 BTC
Not USD you retard.
>>1591887
Except 3600 BTC trades properly for USD on a regular basis. So your anology would be more like if you had an actual buyer base for peacocks (at 2.5 mil) and you legitimately had a peacock.
>>1591881
Yeah. 2.2 mil when only a fraction of a zec was available. So not really so much laddie buck.
I've been mining since 1 second after release and my balance is still 0.00000000.
How does this work?
Is the difficulty already so high that single GPU setups are literally incapable of mining anything at all?
>>1591763
but only on such tiny volume, it's not a big deal. Someone sold a fraction
>>1592042
Very likely so. The block reward is already super low and combined with mining collectives focusing all their resources on zcash, cpu and gpu miners dont stand a chance
>>1592072
Yup. Gotta love the FOMO crowd
https://zmine.io
What am I suppose to do with this? Type it in cmd?
>>1592022
still could've made like 70k if you bought the .01 at ~2btc and sold after it went back to 3500.
>>1592203
>https://zmine.io
I am literally too retarded to understand this
it's just words on a page
SIMPLY DO THIS
>>1591944
Just because it traded at 3.6k BTC per ZEC doesn't mean someone actually bought 1 ZEC @ 3.6k btc.
If I bought 0.00001 ZEC for about 25 usd the market price would show as over 3k BTC. The devs themselves or whatever corporate interest was behind the operation could easily trade tiny amounts amongst themselves to inflate the price like that, and they probably did.
