Do you think Shkreli had a genius idea? Of course he didn't. He just learned finance and pharmacology and just said "well i'm going to do that now too" He's worth ~$400,000,000+(if we include him as a shareholder in his companies) now because he had the expertise and KNEW what to do. There is no genius involved. Knowledge is power.

Read corporate finance textbooks that he literally recommends himself in his finance classes(so you understand how to make money in the purest sense), then read textbooks on another field that you want to work in, then just do it after you actually are an expert in it. It's as simple as that. It's literally all he did and look where he ended up. He had no genius idea. He just had the expertise from reading textbooks all day.

This board should be thanking Shkreli on a daily basis for making the path so fucking obvious and clear at this point. It's not his own view either. Read any well respected book on wealth accumulation written by highly successful people, and they will tell you the same thing. Expertise is way, way rarer than wealth. Invest in yourself. etc etc etc.
