How to get more energy during the day ?
After work i'm mostly too tired to learn new skills or do something productive

but it's not really healthy in the long term
stay in shape, dont eat like shit and get enough sleep.
Might sound cliche but get good sleep. I used to sleep really badly but then I started lifting weights and sorted my diet out and I slept like a baby and found the days easier to get through because of the testosterone in my system. I try and go to the gym before work which makes me feel more awake through most of the day but I get tired at the end of it. It motivates you throughout the day as you know you have taken a step that day to improve yourself. The morning glory you get is crazy as well once the test starts flowing around your body.

If you wait for perfect conditions, you'll never get anything done. Don't wait for motivation to do things.
Coffee and energy drinks work fine for short term. I'm guessing you did the typical thing of getting 8 hours of sleep, and regular diet/exercise.
