Are you wasting significant more time/being inconvenienced MORE than the cost of the car + insurance + gas? (Btw don't get a loan, buy a shitbox)


If your job is right next to your home, you're not wasting much time commuting to where you need to be, winters aren't brutal etc, then there's no real reason to get a car right not from a financial perspective.

As someone with an insane commute I love my car. I pay a premium for my commute to not be absolute dog shit in the form of having a lower mpg more powerful car.
Some people think it's insane others know there is something to enjoying your drive home vs dreading getting into some yarris or prius for the trek home
