Lots of cities and counties hire seasonal for bad weather preparation. I work for a family business in tree removal and stump grinding and Winter is slow. I started 2 weeks ago for city maintenance seasonal until March. We do a lot of things but right now I've just been getting trained on what I'm supposed to do during bad weather. Been getting paid $14/hour to pretty much shadow people thus far.

My father in law plows out 5 small commercial and government lots and shovels their sidewalks. He makes $90k just working in the winter.
