I'm new to stock market and want to be rich like you guys. I have $5000 in my checking account and thinking to invest around $500-$1000 on it. Where should I invest my money on, and what stock brokers do /biz/ usually use?

go to robinhood general thread
All in or nothing, If you are not willing to bet your entire liquidity on your stock trading skills your better off investing in a index fund.
Educate yourself.

OP here, that's my whole earnings for the past few years, and I'll be willing to spend $1000 tops since I can't risk everything in one go or else I'd literally kill myself. Now what companies should I invest my money with safely but surely gain something in return?

How old are you?

Maybe that's what he was asking for?
Maybe an ETF like SPY would do?
But yeah he should do some research beyond asking scrubs on 4chan.

27, wagecuck. Honestly I got interested with this stock business just now by an impulse, but thinking about it, having a long-time investment isn't bad at all.

If you decide to buy an ETF, it's what's inside that matters. Look for one with broad market coverage and an operating history of at least five years. The words 'inverse', 'momentum', 'equal weight', 'fundamentals', 'leverage', '<precious metal>', 'agriculture' should not be found in the product name.
I have 5k to and also would like to now how to invest.Im 17 and idk anything about incesting.Im also interested in other buisness ideas.
