What is the best thing I can do to keep my chances of getting a position afloat after a mediocre phone interview?
I had an interview today with a company that I want to join, but I didn't do outstanding in the interview. It was a little shorter than it was supposed to be, but they outlined the next steps to me and gave me a timeframe of when they would be holding in-person interviews. In the meantime, I am going to be traveling to one of the corporate events that the company puts on, and have been communicating with the recruiter about this and who I can meet from the company.
Am I going to be okay?

>mediocre phone interview
The same thing happened to me last month.
I was overqualified for the position, too.

How was it mediocre for you? I felt like I didn't articulate myself well in certain areas.

I didn't connect with the interviewer.
He was an effeminate male with a less-than-outgoing personality type.
I am the complete opposite.
My energy turned him off, and he didn't appreciate my credentials.

>my credentials
>"I've slept with over 9000 men..."

This wasn't that type of interview.
If you want to know how those go, then you should ask your mom.

So that's where the budgie running from the explosion came from.
