Why AMD tommorow?

I have a dumb question. Me and a friend pooled our money into some sum, I purchased shares and traded them for profit, now I have a single sum of money again, what's the correct way to divide it back to N parties given the initial contributions where not equal and thus did not have equal influence? In my case it's only 2 people but I'd like to know the full formula for whatever you would call this kind of procedure, how to distribute the earnings based on the initial contribution percentage for each contributor.

For example sake lets say Contributor A gives 600 and B gives 400 for a total of 1000, assume that magically doubled to 2000, how do I calculate who gets what percentage of the new sum?

For the record I'm barely awake if my English didn't make that obvious. I'm assuming I just take the original difference as a percentage and apply it to the difference of (resulting sum - initial sum) to get the dividends of just the earnings, which could also be applied to the resulting sum to get the full split.

I'm particularly bad about reasoning with multiple percentages at multiple levels so I want to make sure it's the same as I think it is before I just make assumptions on it.

Not every meme, I started with AMD and made a pretty nice quick profit, rode RGSE in at 2.2 with 1400~, out in the high 7's. Used the 5000 made of that and followed all of pimples plays religously, got to 13,000. Stopped trading for a bit to focus on life, came back and pimple was a faggot. Made the last of my gains chasing HTGM, AMRS, VNR, TOPS(I'd been watching this for a while though), and DRWI.

Would have made even more money but I stopped going all in recently cause im trying to not be a degenerate gambler and lose all my gains
