Not sure if this is the right board to ask, but well I'm a bit desperate. I graduated this summer from my Engineering Degree in the UK, and I have been actively looking for a job for the past month and I did not even get to interview stage with any company.
Is this the normal thing?
Have you bought your kneepads yet?

1. Work on your own projects / start a business.
2. Do internships.
3. Do a master / phd.
Basically build a resume, there are a lot of engineers who are shit, did nothing, copied others students work and still graduated.
You need to prove companies you're not them. Step 1 is a good resume.
