Mostly high fees when trading and I'm still super new to all this so Robinhood and Merril Edge were way better on my wallet.

well theres no fees to trades those direxion etfs.

u dont need 2 be doing a buncha buys and sells anyways , and ur profits should far exceed any fees...

just play around on robin hood and time lapse simulations , till you figure out what ur actually supposed 2 be doing.
>>
>>1568466
it doesn't, it means 1/20th of a percent

Convert .05 to a percent - AddictedToMath.com
informacjerolne.pl/percentage-solution/convert-.05-to-a-percent
... to a percent. To convert .05 into a percent, You need to multiply .05 by 100%. The conversion of .05 into a percent: .05 = .05 * 100% = 5% S

if u cant into math, you shouldn't be trying to into finance , family. you're going to have some serious problems.

0.05 = 5%, true
(obvious)
0.05% =/ 5%, true
(think about it)
0.05% = 1/20th of 1%, true
(0.05% * 20 = 1%, think about it)

As long as we're talking about Vanguard, my friend sent me this the other day while we were talking about stocks and how much money we make

I know nothing about stocks and this is nowhere near my main board. Does this imply that he has a decent amount of money in Vanguard? Is my friend secretly a rich fuck?
>>
>>1568824
plz /biz/ I must know

>i know nothing about stocks

dividends can be thought of a little return on investment to encourage people to buy their stock. Usually paid out quarterly (every 3 months)

I won't go into short-term/long term unless someone else wants to go over it in detail.

In short it is pretty good returns for doing passive income. Admiral shares (elite share group) means he has a huge amount invested (usually over 10k, up to 250k) At least to a normal person.

If you want to think about it like this

typical total bond fund will net you 20 dollars per month for every 10k invested

typical total stock fund will net you 250 per quarter for every 25-30k invested

A very specific fund or etf that follows a slice of the market - like that health care fund, can net you a lot or a huge negative because risk increases on a scale based on the more selective the fund is, which is why you may have heard diversifying increases safety where specific funds will increase risk but increase chances of good returns.

As I mentioned in a different thread, you should just take the simple test on vanguard that talks about risk tolerance or contact them via phone to get a general idea on how you want to proceed.

I don't know how you came up with this, but perhaps you thought the listed distributions were monthly or quarterly? Either way, you're wrong.

He has about $65K in the S&P500 fund.
