How much money should a household make to be considered middle

who cares, middle class is a meme. everyone and their mother calls themselves middle class. the cut-off is usually just below what you earn.

i think going by jobs is more useful. doctors, lawyers, upper management - that's middle class.

For average America (not NYC or Cali), I'd venture to say about $80-120k is true middle class these days.

I'd say 6 figure household is the new middle class seeing as that's what you'd have to make to even buy a house in a nonshit neighborhood in most places.
