3x etfs decay over time as the fund reinvests the money and takes fees, they are not for holding more than a week, they are made to use and abuse daytrades on when they swing from -5% to +5% in a day. As long as you understand (and if you're just starting you don't) it is possible to make money in them but this is just gambling

if you want to jnug, go to your local casino. I lost a lot of money starting out in jnug because like you I looked at the long term chart and thought that it was low, wow it can only go up!!

yeah, didn't end well for me. Go into something more stable, pick something to slowly learn and get comfygains, do not be a retard and put your money down on red or black for if gold goes up today. You might kick yourself when you look back and see jnug at 15-20, but you'll thank yourself and make gains on gold anyway in multiple mining companies without huge risk. Much better than looking at 20% of your portfolio vanish overnight

Spend 1K on a bunch of stuff you want first though, that is how I got over the guilt a bit. You have to get some material goods from that 20K or you won't forgive yourself.
