I need life advice from successful anons
>3rd year uni student
>it's a prestigious school, I'm in for a B.S. program that's pretty much just a primer for professional school
>(med school, pharmacy, dentistry, etc.)
>horribly low GPA
>few friends
>can't get involved with any academic clubs because of shit GPA
>won't be able to get any research positions, again because of shit GPA
>on schedule to graduate with a science degree and then go work at McDonald's
What can I do? I've been getting much better grades this semester, but it feels too little too late.
Has anyone been in this position? What are my options?
is it physically possible for you to get your GPA up to a satisfactory level?
i literally spent the last four months of uni doing nothing but studying. managed to get my grade up from pass to highest possible.
i'd spent the rest of the time before that partying and procrastinating, so i had a lot too catch up on, but it's possible.
restarting worked for me.
entered uni at 18. too stupid, too imature, a lot of opportunities but couldnt get them coz too much of a pussy, only wanted to take it slow, masturbate and play games all day. woke up to life and retook it at 23. best thing i did in my life and what i recommend anyone. only a few people are truly ready to take life seriously before their twenties.

Did your GPA from the first time around hurt you? Did you retake the same program? Same school or different? What are you doing now? What did you do differently?
Sorry, don't feel obliged to answer all of these

give me one reason to help you that i would give a shit about.

Satisfactory for grad schools? Probably not. And even still, I have zero experience or internships to help me out with employability by the time I graduate.

I'm in a similar situation to OP except instead of having a low GPA, I have a worthless major.
I was thinking about restarting but I don't know how much more school I can handle. I'm really starting to lose steam.
How did you stay motivated?

How worthless? I have a roommate in humanities who networked really well and got into a pretty decent law school
