Anyone here an economics student? I'm minoring in it, and next semester I have to take one of
>intermediate micro
>intermediate macro
>econometrics
Which one of these will fuck my shit up the least? I've done calc 1 and business stats so I wouldn't be completely outclassed with any of them. At least it's only my minor so I only have to take 1 out of the 3.
Economics is sociology with money. None of it is real.

Same boat as you, studying first economics/finance and mech engineering (Australia lets us do this)
I find macro more enjoyable, but micro is easier. I haven't studied econometrics yet but I've heard it's just math. If you found calc 1 easy I'd do econometrics, if you found macro hard I'd take micro, but if you did alright at intro macro I'd do intermediate because it's more interesting.

This is true. Make sure you major in something useful like finance.

Econometrics is the most scientific.

Micro or macro? What school?
>undergrad econ majors

>Micro or macro?
I thought something like that would be assumed, but I guess not. Microeconomics is basically firm-level econ and macroeconomics is basically country-level econ (think GDPs and stuff like that).

I should have been clearer, if only I stated it was only my minor, say twice, in my OP... Oh wait.
