In retrospect, going all in on a single stock is basically gambling. I saved everything in cash until the 2008 crash and invested it all in the market when it was in the 6,000 range and watched my money almost triple. I pussied out and converted to cash when it hit 16,000. Just waiting for the next major downturn to go all in again.

Was down $25 k on VRX, my portfolio at the time was only about $45k so it was a big loss and would've taken years for me to save the money back up again. Luckily I held it for a few months and it rebound back to where I sold it for a small loss. Account is back to the $50k range but man did that one give me the shits
