So /biz/ what's your favorite economic school of thought and why.
I myself am a New Keynesian.

Idk what the label is, but
>give poor people enough money to start
>they spend it on useless bullshit ie jewelry, shoes, etc.
>profits for those companies go up, pay min wage workers more
>they buy more things, vicious cycle
It's fool proof, except that outsourcing exists and people would rather keep their gains than throw it down the corporate ladder.
I don't consider any one school to be sufficient. Cafeteria cart or nothing.

what the fuck is a new keynesian.
Reminder that Austrians need to jump off the nearest cliff.

Economics is like predicting the weather by looking outside.
What a joke field.

Neoclassical.
It's what I learned in school and fuck if I'm going to relearn everything again
how can anyone have a preferred economic system without actually studying economics? Like do they just choose to believe what sounds good or they intuitively believe? Or choose experts they like and agree with them?
I doubt anyone in this thread has enough expertise to actually evaluate an economic school of thought
Why do people hate on the austrian school so much? What exactly is wrong with it?

Austrian idealist here, but post-Keynesian/MMT school of thought. I hold a master's in applied economics/econometrics and I guarantee that I could debate you from the Austrian perspective and win every fucking time.
Rational constructivist schools of thought should jump off the nearest cliff or find themselves to the nearest gun to implant a bullet into their brains with.

Post-Keynesian/MMT school of thought in practice* I should have said.
