hi /biz/ was thinking of getting into the whole "freelance webdevelopment" game.

>Make basic websites using preset themes
>Sell them to small businesses
>Host it on my existing hosting account

my hosting costs are $6 a month while charging them $10 per website and another $2 everymonth for hosting.

what could go wrong?

i used to charge about $350 for setting up a website with my own crm engine and applying a skin some whacko graphic designer came up with. and i was quiet cheap.

I have been in this industry for 8 years, i can answer some of your questions.

If your plan is to undercut everyone and get business that way - you will figure out very quickly why your competitors charge the rates that they do.
