I can't remember names or birthdays well at all, mostly because 99% of people I meet will never be important in my life.

I had to hang out with the same group of 6 people everyday for a year until I could list all their names off the top of my head.

Me too, I think it's because of some primal panic reflex.

I am good at remembering names but often pretend I don't know somebody's name if they haven't personally told it directly to me, in case I'm wrong.
