Why am I even on this board? Everyone here is fucking rich
>>1497430
having positive net worth makes you wealthier than half of Americans.
It also probably makes you wealthier than 90% of /biz/
>>1497430
>Everyone here is fucking rich
>>1497450
It feels like everyone is starting huge companies or do all kinds of shit to make money, while I'm an average pleb.
I mean for fuck's sake. By 20-21 years old most entrepreneurs, inventors, etc have already started changing the world. Whereas I'll just be alive for another 30-60 years, saving up about $10-15k/yr and living a life of mediocrity
>>1497460
I know your trolling but seriously consider jumping off Mount Mckay

>Everyone here is fucking rich

Seems like a legit /biz/ post.
>>1497463
Not trolling
Look up anyone significant in the world. By 20 years old they were practically a grown man making grown man decisions in a grown man business
>>1497460
>By 20-21 years old most entrepreneurs, inventors, etc have already started changing the world.
all the ones you hear about anyways.
perhaps that's why you hear about them?
because most don't do anything that young?
mediocrity is all anyone can hope for anymore. There's so many fucking people you'll never be the best at anything. Didn't your guidance counselor tell you this in school?
>>1497466
Warren Buffet didn't make his first million until his 30s
Marc Cuban was almost 40
OP im so poor icant evn aff

>Everyone here is fucking rich
You are pretty well off for 20 years old, probably better off than some of the 30 year olds on this board.
>>1497466
Feels good turning 20 next week and already having my own business. No millions yet though
>>1497430
Absolutely untrue. Most people on here are trying to get rich, but the bragging is strong. And, as other people have noted, you're doing extremely well.
>>1497467

You can't compare yourself to other people. Some people get lucky, and that's good for them, but that doesn't mean that you can't work your way to success.
Plus, keep in mind, there's a very real bubble in tech right now. It's the dot com bubble all over again. We're going to see a lot of self-important entrepreneurs go bankrupt in the next decade or so, once the angel funding dries up and people regain their senses.

You complain more than you should, friend.

> tech bubble
Untrue, tech is being brought in house, but tech is only going to become bigger, just more regulated and more standardized. Bullshit like Elon Musk will die off, but coding and robotics are going to boom soon.
>>1498119
Good point, I totally agree. I should probably be specific: I'm 100% convinced that there is a bubble with regard to apps, Kickstarter startups, and pretty much everything in that category.
>>1498125
Maybe, the app bubble is still growing right now. I'm surprised people aren't already sick of the Kickstarter meme.
