bitcoin isn't understood as a currency in a lot of countries, it's written up as "intangible assets", meaning it has value to you but not to the state

depending on where you are, it's either troublesome or impossible to attach legal liabilities to bitcoin transactions in a way that resembles what you can do with legal tender

Yea bitcoin is great I wish more people would use it. As without bitcoin it with be hard to send $1.00 to a random person I have never met. That is the beauty of bitcoin. I hope it does not get wrecked by a hard fork :(

I have no fucking idea what all this techno shit means. How can you get money from those random numbers? I am only slightly fimiliar with blockchain. I own Bitcoin. But I don't understand what is going on here.
