You're assuming that you can get your orders fulfilled immediately. In reality they'll fill at a slightly higher strike price and turn small gains into losses. Technical analysis only works if you find non-obvious trends or have the resources of at least a mid-level prop firm.

Incremental gains over $1000 or even $5000 are far better returns than waiting for your blue chip to go up 10c.
