Since youtube is going down the drain, should people start shorting google? I mean I know google owns more than youtube, but I think its gonna take a huge hit on it. Will they change the rules or should we act now?

Well I wouldn't say its going to end, but they're going to lose so much money without putting ads on most of the videos being put up.

And even if they did, adblock technology makes that ineffective at best.

How do you think youtubers get their money?

The whole point of the change of rules is to increase revenue. As I understand those things are just "guidelines", if you want to just use Youtube as a platform you can still upload your controversial shit, just don't expect any ad revenues.
>Golden Age for sponsored videos?
>Brands dealing directly with talent?
>Google taking a huge hit on YouTube

You can't deny they are making a profit out off of youtube, they could take a big hit.

It's not even guidelines, it's predicted with an algorithm which videos can't have ads.
