Redpill me on cocaine usage in business, /biz/.
How widely is it used by executives, investment bankers, accountants, brokers, and other wall street jerk-offs?
Is it just a meme?
Is it necessary?

Movie BS aside, it's comparable to other drug use by any other slice of the population.
Drug usage and addiction is almost the norm in the US at the moment.
That said, anyone who actually makes it isn't doing drugs: the two are kind of mutually exclusive.
i prefer meth.. longer duration hits.. similar effects to coke.

This isn't the 80s bro. Stop watching so many movies.
Some do some don't.
Most guys are pretty conservative.
if you've never done it I'm pretty sure you'd think this way.
It doesn't breing out anything new in a person. if fact it can hamper thinking patterns greatly.
Adderall does nearly the same thing with much less mess, similar risks. The only difference is it lacks the euphoria and pain killing.
The euphoria is particularly bad for most people making critical decisions.
The funny thing about drugs is they give you an edge until the crash and the crash is usually big, but by then, you're addicted and totally locked in.
and again chemistry is not really a shortcut, so much as a short term forcing function. The best bet is still good sleep, good sex, good diet and hard fucking work.
Sometimes the best way to go fast is to go slow.

Cocaine is a very dangerous drug, often downplayed in movies. It's almost on the same level as heroin.
You have to spend hundreds on your addiction every day. Most people also drink to it because it extends the effects and then realize they are also alcoholics.
It feels amazing, but those 30 minutes are just not worth it.
