What's your technical analysis (TA) and fundamental analysis (FA) when it comes to crypto day trading /biz/. And what are some useful sites for crypto news.

buy when others a buying - everyone wants to get on the next bitcoin, so when you see a shitload of volume then you should hop on and expect the price to increase for the next few days (or week, or months)
but also look for shorting opportunities if the price is increasing for absolutely no reason
>crypto "currency"

Fundamental analysis is worthless if you are day trading anything. Fundamental Analysis is only valid over long time horizons. It has no way of analyzing the daily whims of the market.
The FA case for crypto currency, is their deflationary nature (limited amount of bitcoins), their protection from central bank manipulation (i.e. money printing, QE), their low transaction costs, their universality (borders are meaningless to crypto) and their transparency.
I tend to think a lot of TA is voodoo and self-fulfilling prophecy, but their are some useful things in it. Usually the simple concepts like trending and support and resistance.

My fundamental analysis of Trumpcoin is stay the fuck away because no campaign has ever had funds remaining after an election win or lose.
Technical is irrelevant. All cryptos are pump and dumps

they already probably think you look at kiddie porn, so who cares?
TA is a meme not supported by any empirical evidence, it vaguely predicts trends that are better quantified through algorithms and mathematics and is rarely ever actually effective
FA has some credibility to it in order to get a feel for the market - but you can't do FA on a cryptocurrency because it isn't a business
Do you even go to business school? You're best off either holding BTC or engaging in algo trading
>ta
>fa
>not mechanical analysis
Get your mechanics in order, bruh.

Saying "TA is a meme" is actually in itself a meme. It started with Cowles'(Columbia) research but Cowles' work was later proven incorrect by Brown(NYU), and Goetzmann and Kumar (Yale) and they actually proved that Hamilton's work would produce positive returns with significantly less risk.
